กองสวัสดิการสังคม  เทศบาลตำบลสุเทพ  ร่วมกับศูนย์พัฒนาสังคมหน่วยที่  13  จังหวัดเชียงใหม่  ได้อนุมัติเงินสงเคราะห์ครอบครัวผู้มีรายได้น้อย  ผู้ที่ได้รับความทุกข์ยากเดือดร้อน    จำนวน  3  ครอบครัวเพื่อเป็นการช่วยเหลือเบื้องต้นแก่ผู้ที่ได้รับความเดือดร้อน    ครอบครัว ๆละ  3,000  บาท  ซึ่งประกอบด้วย

-  นายกมล  ประภาพรรณ  อายุ  54  ปี  อาศัยอยู่บ้านเลขที่  534  หมู่ที่  5 ตำบลสุเทพ  อำเภอเมืองเชียงใหม่  จังหวัดเชียงใหม่  เป็นผู้วิกลจริต  ขาดผู้อุปการะเลี้ยงดู  ไม่มีที่อยู่อาศัย  

-  นายอโณทัย   แสงเวียน  อายุ  30  ปี  อาศัยอยู่บ้านเลขที่  59  หมู่ที่  5  ตำบลสุเทพ  อำเภอเมืองเชียงใหม่  จังหวัดเชียงใหม่  พิการซ้ำซ้อน  ตาบอดสองข้าง  ไม่มีงานทำ  ไม่มีอาชีพ

-  นางสาวจุฬาพร  วงศ์น้อย  อายุ  50  ปี  อาศัยอยู่บ้านเลขที่  35/101  หมู่ที่  4  ตำบลสุเทพ  อำเภอเมืองเชียงใหม่  จังหวัดเชียงใหม่  ไม่มีอาชีพเป็นหลักแหล่ง  พิการไม่มีหัวแม่มือว้ายและแขนลีบ 

โดยได้ทำการมอบเงินสงเคราะห์ดังกล่าว  ในวันที่  14  สิงหาคม  2551  โดย  นายประสาตร์  ล้อมลาย  ตำแหน่งรองนายกเทศมนตรีตำบลสุเทพ  เป็นผู้มอบ
